Philomena Ngozi Nwoko is a Nigerian author, playwright, and scholar with a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Ibadan. Her research and writing explore the intersections of Greek Drama, Comparative Literature, and Gender, Cultural and Sexuality Studies. A prolific creative writer, she is the author of the novels Dancing with the Ostrich and The Male Daughter, and the plays Dimgba and Aba Women's Revolt. Additionally, she has published a substantial body of Children's Literature and Short Stories. She currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Oyo State Chapter.
