Nandini Pandey is an Associate Professor of Classics at Johns Hopkins University. Her research explores Latin literature, Roman political and intellectual history, visual culture, and the conversations among them.
She’s currently finishing a book on Roman diversity that also traces her own journey as an Asian-American classicist. Her teaching and outreach most recently focus on race, identity, and marginalized voices in antiquity and beyond. She’s a proponent of public classics and an advocate for a more socially relevant and inclusive academy.
