Madhlozi Moyo studied at the University of Zimbabwe and the University of Cape Town. He now lectures in Classical Studies at the University of the Free State’s Department of Philosophy & Classics. His research interests are in Reception Studies and comparative literature/mythology. He lectures in Classical Greco-Roman literature (especially Archaic age poetry, Augustan literature, Cicero); Classical art and architecture; Reception Studies as well as Comparative mythology. He was Africa-Oxford fellow for (2023), where he is working on his monograph on Classical Presences in Zimbabwe.
